Research Interests

My research focuses on the genetics of diverse marine and aquatic organisms.

My current projects include:

  1. Genome structure and population genetics of the American Lobster
  2. Expression of silk genes in black fly larvae, and characterization of silk proteins
  3. The genetics of invasive insects in the Galapagos Islands
