BIO 401 - Biostatistics
Information on Spring 2013 offering
During Spring 2013, Dr. Cullum will be off-campus three weeks out of every four. The Bio 401 course will be taught in a format that supports this schedule.
Of the roughly 75 contact-hours the course normally has, about 25 hours will still be in-person, with one week of classroom meetings per month during the MW 2:30-6:00 timeslots.
The remaining course time will take place mainly online, through text and recorded video presentations, online live chats, discussion boards, and assignments. Some quizzes and tests will take place in the classroom during scheduled hours, but other than that there are no in-class attendance requirements for the online weeks.
Tentative dates for in-class meetings are:
- Jan 16 (Week 1)
- Feb 11-15 (Week 5)
- Mar 18-22 (Week 9)
- Apr 15-19 (Week 13)
- May 6-10 (Finals week)
