Meetings

Creighton University Biology Club meetings will usually occur twice a month on Tuesday evenings at 6:00 p.m. in the Hixson-Lied Center (NSB) room 404/408. Biology Club membership is open to all Creighton students and faculty. Everyone is welcome to come and participate in the activities.

Members gather to discuss future Biology Club events, eat food, listen to guest speakers, and many other activities.

Signs detailing upcoming Biology Club events will be posted across campus a week prior to a meeting for convienience.

Biology Club T-shirts will be available during second semester.

Zoo Trip: Visit the famous Henry Doorly Zoo.

Capture the flag! Join the biology club as we compete against other clubs.

Rock Climbing, Paintball, Race for the Cure and other ideas.

 

The Biology Club is always planning activities and looking for input from our members. To share an idea with biology club, either come to one of the meetings or e-mail any of the officers.

We really appreciate your comments and suggestions, and will try to implement them.

September 16, 2003 First biology club meeting! Come meet the biology club and the advisors, and share some pizza.
September 26, 2003 Biology Club vs Chemistry Club Flag Football game at Memorial Park at 3:30 p.m.! Come hang out, support, and play with the biology club.
September 27, 2003 - October 10, 2003 Homecoming Events.
September 28, 2003 Come listen to Dr. Norris speak about admissions into graduate school. Food will be provided. Click here for the link to the commentary.
October 27, 2004 Biology Club Halloween Party! Come for some pumpkin carving, good food, and professors. Wear your costume and see if you can identify the professors among the students.
November 3, 2004 Major's Fair. Come down to learn more about the biology major and just chat to some faculty and students!
November 9, 2004 Come listen to an interesting speaker from the Henry Doorly Zoo!
November 30, 2004 The annual event... GINGERBREAD HOUSES! Come show off your habitat for humanity skills to build an edible house. Artistic abilities are not necessary. ;)
