Teaching Assistants
A select group of undergraduates (usually seniors) have the opportunity to become undergraduate teaching assistants in general biology or upper division laboratories. TA's work closely with faculty supervisors in planning and executing laboratory sessions. An application and selection process occurs each spring. TA's are paid a stipend and receive training in laboratory instruction in BIO 490.
